| The National Museum of Korea Begins a New Journey with Global PR Ambassador RM. On June 19, RM of the global K-pop group BTS was appointed as the first Global Public Relations Ambassador in the history of the NMK. To mark the occasion, RM toured the museum’s collections and exhibitions alongside Director You Hong June. During the visit, he explored the seasonal highlight, Kim Hongdo: Painting His Era, taking a closer look at the museum’s diverse collections and programs. RM has long expressed a deep affection for Korean art, cultural heritage, and the museum. As Global PR Ambassador, he will join the NMK in sharing the value and beauty of Korea’s cultural heritage with audiences around the world. By connecting the past with the present, and Korea with the world, the NMK hopes to create more opportunities for everyone to appreciate Korean culture and art.
