Throughout their early and mid-career years, BTS regularly held in-person fansign events in South Korea and occasionally abroad, giving selected fans the opportunity to meet the members, receive signed albums, and speak with them briefly face to face. These events were a common part of album promotions and played a significant role in building a close connection between BTS and their fandom, ARMY. In response, the group and their company adapted by introducing online video call fansigns, allowing them to continue interacting with fans virtually while prioritizing health and safety.
