1: It seems I have always tried not to worry my fans. Is there a reason why you try to show your bright side first?
I also want to focus only on the good things when I’m enjoying my hobbies. It’s only natural, isn’t it? ARMYs are watching over us to cherish good memories, so deliberately giving them something to worry about doesn’t really suit my style

2: On the ‘ARIRANG’ world tour stage, there are days when you look like you are about to burst into tears, and on other days when you look happier than anyone else.
Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever really held back tears. I guess I just have a tearful look on my face (laughs). Even when I haven’t cried, sometimes people misunderstand and think I’m holding them back. I can pick out the moments that make me laugh right away. Of course, it’s when I see ARMYs having fun. Just looking at each and every smiling face makes me smile along with them.

3: From the Hug Event to ‘Run Seokjin’ and your solo tour, you have experienced an unusually large number of firsts. What is the strength that allows you to move forward toward these firsts?
It’s fun, you know (laughs). If you repeat the same format every time, you gradually lose interest in even the most enjoyable things. That’s why I’ve always tried something new. Because I wanted to create a time for ARMYs to enjoy.If I had to pick one moment I’d like to praise myself for, it would also be the time I spend thinking about what new thing I should try next.

4: What does ‘success’ mean to Jin now? Has his standard changed compared to when he first debuted?
Many people have smiled at me, and I have had many experiences that are difficult to have easily at a young age. In the early days of my debut, simply surviving was a major concern. Now, thanks to all the love, I have different concerns than I did back then, such as how to make ARMYs happy. I think I can call it a success just to have embraced such a change.

5: What Jin thinks of as ‘being like Kim Seokjin’ is
I am someone who wants to live the way I want.Of course, I won’t be able to do everything.
