When BTS first debuted, they regularly uploaded video logs to YouTube, sharing updates about their activities and interacting with fans. At the time, these videos did not include official translations, so fan sites such as Bangtan Subs did an excellent job providing subtitles for international audiences.
After VLive launched in 2015, the group gradually reduced the number of pre-recorded logs and began hosting more live broadcasts, which allowed them to engage with fans in real time. In 2019, Weverse was introduced as a new platform for hosting content, and over time it naturally became the primary space for live broadcasts as well. When VLive eventually shut down, BTS transferred all of their past live streams to the Weverse platform, where they remain available today.
